Our Journey
Our story began in 2017 with a bold government tender application to lease a piece of the Ngubi Forest, within the greater Uplands forest system. Eight years later, after countless government offices, helpful staff, meticulous paperwork, and the support of many dedicated individuals, we have learnt lessons in patience, faith, and immense gratitude.
Today, our doors are finally open, and we are ready to welcome you to this wonderful piece of God's creation. We invite you to create memories, share adventures, and discover the wonder of this special forest alongside us.
Our Founder
Gitau Njoroge saw potential where many did not and followed through with a resilience few could muster. His journey was paved with the unwavering support of mentors, encouragers, cheerleaders, and prayer partners who believed in the vision. He brings a unique blend of business acumen and a profound connection to nature that is the very foundation of Ngubi Adventure Forest Camp.
With a deep passion for connecting people with nature, Gitau has a long history of organizing group hikes and outdoor activities. He is dedicated to conservation and promotes sustainable practices as a means of fostering community and environmental stewardship.
