We’ve added solar power to the forest camp, a real step forward for us. Until now, evenings at Ngubi have relied on natural light, the campfire, and scattered solar floodlights. Now we have enough capacity to run essentials that make a genuine difference to a stay here.

The system comfortably supports a TV for presentations and briefings, a sound system for boot camps and outdoor sessions, and charging points for phones, laptops, cameras and torches. In the evenings, it also powers eco-friendly lighting around the camp, so campers can comfortably move around after dark.

It’s a small addition, but it reflects how we growing our facilities gradually, the same way we’re growing everything else here.
